- Conduct static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analysis of metallic and composite aircraft structures.
- Develop and validate finite element models using industry-standard tools (e.g., NASTRAN, Patran, Hyperworks).
- Support design teams with structural input during concept and detailed design phases.
- Prepare stress reports and documentation for regulatory certification (e.g., EASA, FAA).
- Review engineering drawings and support design changes from a structural perspective.
- Participate in design reviews and liaise with manufacturing and production teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum
5 years of experience
in aircraft structural analysis. - Strong proficiency in FEA tools and structural analysis methods.
- Proven ability to perform hand calculations
for sizing, load paths, and stress validation. - Solid understanding of aerospace materials and structural design principles.
- Familiarity with certification standards (e.g., FAR/CS 23).
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
