We are seeking a talented and experienced Specification Consultant Engineer to join our team in Dubai.


The Specification Consultant Engineer will be responsible for providing technical expertise, product knowledge, and training to clients and internal teams.


This is a challenging role that requires a high level of technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to customer service.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decisionmakers in the MENA region, including architects, consultants, and contractors.
  • Develop and implement a regional sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Promote the company's range of Expansion Joint Covers to specifiers, and provide technical advice and support to customers and prospects.
  • Work closely with our local sales team to ensure effective lead generation, qualification, and followup, as well as provide support and training as needed.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows, and actively participate in relevant professional organizations to enhance our brand awareness and reputation in the region.
  • Collaborate with the global product development team to provide feedback on market requirements and ensure our product range meets the needs of the MENA market.

Requirements:


  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry with a focus on building materials, architectural products, or related products.
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry in the MENA region, including building codes and regulations, construction materials, and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Comfortable in extensive travelling in MENA region.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
