Responsibilities:


Financial Record Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for New Star Property Management.
Process financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.


Sage 50 Expertise:
Utilize Sage 50 software proficiently to manage and streamline financial operations.
Generate and analyze financial reports using Sage 50 to provide insights into the company's financial performance.


Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and standards.
Prepare and submit financial reports and statements to relevant authorities in a timely manner.


Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor budgetary performance and provide recommendations for improvement.


Bank Reconciliation:
Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Manage cash flow and ensure proper fund utilization.


Audit Support:
Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.
Provide necessary documentation and support to ensure a smooth audit process.


Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
Present financial information to management for decision-making purposes.


Communication and Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and ensure accuracy.
Communicate financial insights and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
  • Indepth knowledge of Sage 50 software is essential.
  • Familiarity with UAE accounting regulations and standards.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
