What will you be doing?

We are seeking a hands on Finance Assistant to help with the demands of the CSM Brands Middle East team.

Being the first point of call to client facing staff on all Workday queries & questions
Support preparation of monthend P&L reports
Preparation of month end journals
Prepayments and Accruals, Accrued and Deferred Revenue and WIP
Point of contact for any expenses, credit card related queries, supplier onboarding, supplier contracts, POs
Assist client team with raising purchase order for OPEX related costs contingent workers, freelancers, etc
Liaise with SSC on a regular basis on payments and invoice queries and manage on ME team on AP and AR
Ensure all recharges are billed out monthly accurately and promptly.
Raise quotations & assist client team with creating project codes and project billing schedule on Workday system
Work closely with client teams to ensure good working capital control, including client project prompt billing out and regular reconciliation of client budgets
Reconciliation of company bank accounts, & other banking related transactions including cash flow forecasts.
Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and providing supporting requirements to third party tax consultants.
Support the Team with ad hoc finance duties

The skills and experience you will need
months of experience in industry preferred, ideally a qualified Accountant or equivalent

Middle East accounting experience (VAT filing, audit, statutory requirements)
Hands on, proactive approach with quick turnaround of tasks.
Ability to get your head down and work within tight deadline
Interest in and knowledge of sport and sporting events.
Strong Excel skills
Commerciallyminded
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to form positive working relationships with CSM colleagues in Middle East and around the group.
Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
Task based, organised, methodical approach to work required.
Commitment to seeing work through to completion a finisher
Ability to work under own initiative but also to ask questions when required
Ability to work as part of a team & willingness to perform occasional transactional tasks.
