The main duties and responsibilities will include:

Maintain up to date billing system
Generate invoices and account statements
Follow up on, collect and allocate payments
Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
Perform account reconciliations
Maintain accounts receivable files and records
Monitor customer account details for nonpayments, delayed payments and other irregularities
Research and resolve payment discrepancies
Generate age analysis
Develop a recovery system and initiate collection efforts
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
Support Management by distributing timely and accurate Accounts Receivable information
Assist with monthend financial statement closings and annual audits

Desired experience and person specification:

Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or a commensurate level of Accounts Receivable experience
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Handson experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
Good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Team player

Salary:
From AED3,000.00 per month
