Ourclient specializing in aerialwork platforms is urgently recruiting qualified a highlyexperienced Level 3 AWPTechnician to be part of theirdynamic team. Candidate must have the flexibility in terms of worklocation as the role is to be based in Dubai or in AbuDhabi.

Jobscope as detailedbelow:

Underdirection repairs/installs and maintains Aerial Work Platformequipment in a safe and professional manner including DC electricalsystems hydraulic systems & associated equipment as well asmechanical equipment such as engines motors and subassemblies byperforming the duties listedbelow.

• Maintaina clean and safe work area strictly adhering to best practicesafetyprotocols.
  
• Fosterpositive customer relations through professional interactions andserviceexcellence.
  
• Ensurethe safe maintenance and repair of a range of Aerial Work Platforms(AWPs) and associated equipment encompassing mechanical dieselelectrical and electronicsystems.
  
• Installand repair mechanical hydraulic and electrical components includingbut not limited to hydraulic cylinders engine parts switchescontrollers and relatedparts.
  
• Disassembledevices to access and replace defective parts while meticulouslyexamining parts forimperfections.
  
• Lubricateand clean parts testing device performance before and afterrepair.
  
• Utilizerepair equipment and parts according to prescribed procedures andinstructions.
  
• Diagnoseissues conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot faults onequipment in accordance with manufacturers and Manliftrequirements.
  
• Generatedetailed "Field Service reports" and"service work orders" outlining maintenance tasksfaults identified and resourcesexpended.
  
• Operateequipment proficiently providing customer demonstrations andguidance asnecessary.
  
• Maintainservice vehicles in a clean and professionalcondition.
  
• Inspectused parts for imperfections or dimensional changes makingnecessary adjustments orreplacements.
  
• Installspecialized functional and structural parts inequipment.
  
• Calibrateequipment using electronic aids and programmablecontrols.
  
• Troubleshootand inspect machines for mechanical electrical and hydraulic faultsandmalfunctions.
  
• Conductspecialized maintenance tasks including major overhauls of engineshydraulic pumps and cylinders rotary couplings swing drives torquehubs and other mechanicalcomponents.
  
• Performinitial checks and final inspections of machines according to TMWguidelines.
  
• Repairelectrical components such as starter motors alternators andvariouscontrollers.
  
• Testand adjust pressure settings of function pumps control valvescharge and pressure valves and conduct engine valve lashadjustments.
  
• Employbasic testing and measuring instruments to analyze calibrate andadjust equipmentparameters.
  
• Interprethydraulic and electrical schematics to troubleshoot faults onvariousAWPs.
  
• Demonstrateflexibility in responding to changes in schedules and job scopewhether working individually or leading a team in major repair andmaintenance tasks on all Manliftequipment
  

Requirements

Tobe considered for this position candidates must meet the followingcriteria:

Possessa minimum of 45 years of relevant experience in the sameindustry.

Holda Diploma or Certificate in Engineering or demonstrate 35 years ofincreasingly responsible maintenance and repair experience in AWP s(Aerial Work Platforms) or relatedequipment.

Completionof manufacturer s training programs specific to AWP repair andmaintenance

Proficientin the use of diagnostic equipment andprocedures

Strongcommand of English both written and verbal. Fluency in additionallanguage isadvantageous.

Demonstratedability to quickly grasp new concepts and technologies with acommitment to ongoing learning and professionaldevelopment.

Possessionof a valid UAE driving license ispreferred.

IPAF(International Powered Access Federation) certification isconsidered a valuableasset.

DesiredKnowledge:

• Comprehensiveunderstanding of maintenance and repair methodologies terminologytools and spare parts commonly utilized in the servicing of AerialWork Platforms(AWPs).
  
• Proficiencyin identifying and mitigating occupational hazards associated withAWP operation and maintenance coupled with adherence to standardsafety practices in accordance with industry regulations andguidelines.
