    Job Purpose Assists the administration ofmore complex projects. Monitors and schedules the flow of materialscomponents assemblies and inventory. Performs detailed inventoryanalyses and addresses problems in an effort to keep system dataaccuracy high excess inventory minimized and manufacturing plans onschedule. Ensure that products are available in the rightquantities at the right locations and at the right times to meetcustomer demands while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency Job Description
    • Determines the sources of the components (tomake or to buy) per current operation sourcing strategy and updatesdemands into the system
    • Coordinates withEngineering Class 1 & 2 ECNs as they affect inventory andschedules. May handle multiples project planssimultaneously
    • Responsible for inventoryconsumption to meet project prioritization efforts
    • Analyzes supply and demand of inventory and longleadparts and takes corrective actions as needed to alleviate scheduleimpacts or excess inventory
    • Analyzes andcorrects excess supply orders in the ERP system Works withoutregular direct supervision
    • Executes inventorycarrying usage and planning decisions based on own research anddecisionmaking without consultation with Manager
    • Makes assessments about supply/demand issues recommendsthorough solutions and takes initiatives to address issues withlittle or no direct input from supervisors
    • Mayprovide guidelines to less experienced planners and other functionsin specific planning and problemsolving activities
    • Reviews and develops solutions for sourcing to meet thenear and midterm inventory forecast and monitors the flow ofinventory throughout projects
    • Collaborate withsales marketing and other relevant departments to gatherinformation and historical data to accurately forecast futuredemand for products. This involves using statistical models markettrends and other factors to predict how much of each product willbe needed.
    • Actively decreases inventorythrough creative supply and stocking practices and limitsconversion of inventory to excess and obsolete.
    • Updates Material Master as per planning parameters todrive systematic conformance to inventory planningprocesses.
    • Manages Safety Stock levelsconsidering lead times supplier capabilities transportationlogistics and order quantities.
    • Regularlyanalyze inventory data and performance metrics to identify trendsareas for improvement and opportunities to optimize inventorymanagement processes. This may involve using tools like inventoryturnover ratios days of inventory on hand.
    • Utilize SAP and other tools to streamline processes trackinventory movements and generate reports for informeddecisionmaking.
    • Stay updated on internationaltrade regulations customs requirements and other compliance factorsthat might impact the movement of goods across borders.
    • Support simplification and standardization of processesby identifing enhancement opportunities and implement solutions forimprovement
    You are meant for this job if:
    • Technical Diploma Bachelors Degree or equivalentexpierience
    • Minimum 23 years experiencerelevant inventory planning industry expierince a plus
    • Knowledge of API Q1/Q2 and TechnipFMC processes andspecifications
    Skills Additional Skills
    • Excellent interpersonalnegotiating writing and presentation skills. Good English essentialArabic an advantage
    • Excellent problemsolvingskills to coordinate resources to meet customer requirements withina team environment
    • Competent in businessystems including Microsoft Office Suite ServiceMaxInteServ
    • Expert in SAP materialsmanagement
    • 3 to 5 years of experience incustomer service
