Role
You will be responsible for driving UM's reputation and keeping UM connected with our external and internal communities:


_ External__:
_

- _Agency positioning: Have a point of view on what our primary messaging areas should be for external-facing comms, as well as our agency tone of voice_
- _

Social Media:

Owning the strategy and every-day activity on our social media profiles (Instagram, LinkedIn, FB and Twitter accounts), building engagement with our followers by sharing relevant updates.

Building our community engagement on _our social feeds by producing content and updates that are engaging and differentiated_
- _Website: Managing and maintaining our agency page and news by keeping it up-to-date with any new content. _
- _Events: Owning the events strategy for UM MENAT region and running online and offline events to engage both clients and new business prospects as well as employees_
- _Awards: Owning the strategy and entry of MENAT award entries to help build UM's external profile in the industry, including but not limited to : Campaign ME Agency of the Year, EFFIE MENA, FOM submissions. This will involve ensuring that key submission deadline dates are adhered to, as well as drafting award submissions for internal stakeholder feedback and approval, as well as managing all associated finances (e.g. submission fees)_
- _Profile building: Identifying and driving opportunities to help raise the profiles of our talent_

  • PR: Manage the daytoday running of UM's relationship with our PR partners and publishers. Ensure that we have a healthy pipeline of coverage and opportunities that align with the overarching marketing strategy and work with relevant stakeholders to ensure they are continuously producing content for PR (e.g. thought pieces and industry commentary)

_ Internal__:

- _Help to run internal events such _as: Company_ Update Meetings and D&I events such as talks with internal and external speakers _


Must-Have Characteristics

  • At least 4 years in the working world with relevant experience
  • A creative thinker who's passionate about spotting, generating and launching new ideas
  • An optimistic and proactive attitude
  • Outstanding project manager; detailed and conscientious with timings
  • Proven ability to manage senior internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Excellent, confident and accurate copywriter
  • Effective at striking up positive and collaborative working relationships
  • Experience with B2B marketing

Nice-to have

  • Experience running online or offline events would be very beneficial
  • Experience creating printed, audio or video assets for B2B marketing would be very beneficial
