• Acquisition, development and execution of OASE technology projects in assigned industry; focus on Carbon Capture
• Focus on project management activities related to OASE licensing, both technical, and commercial support throughout project lifetime (preFEED, FEED, EPC, unit operation)
• Execute and manage chemical and technical sales agreements and licenses with customers in the assigned industry.
• Attend major industry conferences and participate in regional industry associations to network with industry players and increase visibility of BASF in industry.
• Licensing activities to include leading and coordinating with project teams in multiple regions
• Participate and contribute to global initiatives with the responsibility to achieve strategic objectives regionally.
• Develop and nurture a relationship with key customers, engineering contractors and technical partners in order to create exposure for the BASF Gas Treatment portfolio.
• Establish good working relationships internally and externally. This includes customers, distributors, industry consultants, engineering companies as well as BASF customer service, legal, logistics, product management and regulatory departments.
• Generate and coordinate information about markets, products, competitors, and customers within the assigned industry.
• Assist Gas Treatment team members in the further development and sales of existing technologies and solvents.

• Master's Degree in Chemical/ Process Engineering

• Experience (4+ years) in the field of Process engineering/ EPC, manufacturing, technical sales/marketing
• Experience in gas treating preferred
• Experience using chemical process simulation tools required
• Possess problem solving capability, initiative and creativity. Able to effectively influence others and to work in or lead diverse teams.

• Compilation of Process Engineering Design Packages; P&ID review; HAZOP/SIL participation
• Project and Proposal Management
• Must have global business orientation and strong intercultural experience
• Developed negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with a drive to make things happen
• Experience in actively working with key decision makers within large organization

• Experience using chemical process simulation tools

• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, and preferably another language
