- Supervision of RegulatedEntities:
- Develop and implement supervisoryguidelines for IT and cyber risk.
- Analyzeindustry-specific data to monitor and assess IT and cyberrisks.
- Lead IT and cyber risk thematic reviews,conducting professional discussions withmanagement.
- Monitor firms' compliancewith DIFC and DFSA Laws, Rules, and RegulatoryPolicy.
- Contribute to the assessment ofapplicants for new financial serviceslicenses.
- TechnicalGuidance:
- Act as the IT and cyber risk SubjectMatter Expert (SME).
- Provide internal adviceand technical guidance.
- Monitor internationaland regional regulatory standards and industrydevelopments.
- StrategyFormulation, Implementation, Planning, andProjects:
- Implement Supervision Department-widestrategy.
- Contribute to authorisation and/orsupervision strategy development.
- Participatein company wide projects asrequired.
- PeopleManagement:
- Support professional developmentprograms and contribute to regulatory leadershipinitiatives.
- Policies,Systems, Processes &Procedures:
- Contribute to continuous improvementof regulatory systems and processes.
- Implementsupervision-related policies andprocedures.
- Documentationand Reporting:
- Document risk assessments,thematic reviews, and importantcommunications.
- Prepare departmental statementsand reports.
- OtherResponsibilities:
- Perform related duties asdirected.
- Share responsibility for ongoing riskmanagement within the first line ofdefense.
- EducationalBackground:
- Degree in a relevantfield.
- Postgraduate degree isadvantageous.
- Evidence of continuingprofessionaldevelopment.
- ProfessionalExperience:
- At least 8 years of IT and cyberrisk experience.
- Operational risk managementand business technologies experience isbeneficial.
- Knowledge,Skills & Attributes:
- Strong expertise infinancial servicesregulation.
