Description

Supports and performs routine and complexmineralogical analysis on exploration, mine and plant samples. Willimplement and develop procedures and protocols for mineralogicalinstrumentation such as Microscopy (optical, SEM-EDS-WDS, QEMSCAN),XRD, NIR and Particle-Size Analysis

models forepithermal gold deposits and target/project generationactivities

Proactively supervise 3rd partyproperties; initiate reviews as warranted

Forwardplanning to ensure efficient and timely coordination of resourcesrequired for preparation and conduct of explorationactivities

Preparation of annual programs andbudgets

Ensure programs are consistent withADNOC's strategic needs andgoals

Reviews and recommends new or enhancedmineralogical analyses, testing equipment or protocols, reportsanalytical issues related to exploration, mine geology, mineralprocessing, hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, and environmentalconcerns and may make recommendations to the Senior Mineralogistfor correction.

Assists specific samplepreparation work and application of ore characterization methods;performing and coordinating general material characterizationprojects and handling related analytical data forreporting

Evaluates and administers contractswith vendors for the provision of services and equipment; providesguidance and counsel to the site management team on applicableprograms, practices and existing/proposed local, state and federalregulations and maintains a current working knowledge of applicablefederal, state and local regulations

Performsother duties as required.
