As a Quantity Surveyor at ARCHCORP, you will be responsible for a wide

range of tasks, including:
<\/div>

• Preparing cost plans and cost estimates.

<\/div>
Handling pre and post contract correspondence.
<\/div>
.Conducting quantity take -offs and cost calculations for architectural, ID,
<\/div>
structural, and MEP works.
<\/div>
Based in UAE
<\/div>

• Preparing Bills of Quantities and contract conditions based on standard

<\/div>
contract conditions (FIDIC). as applicable in the UAE
<\/div>
Creating tender documents, clarifications, and addendums.
<\/div>
Evaluating and analyzing contractor's tender submissions and preparing
<\/div>
tender reports.
<\/div>

• Preparing Letters of Acceptance (LOAs) and contract agreements.

<\/div>

• Evaluating, negotiating, and selecting suppliers and sub contractors.

<\/div>

• Writing specifications with up to date knowledge of materials and their

<\/div>
applications.
<\/div>
Verifying contractor's interim and final payment certificates.
<\/div>

• Evaluating and reporting on provisional sum and PC rate items.

<\/div>
om. Handling variations and finalizing them.
<\/div>

• Preparing cost budgets and pricing for contract variations.

<\/div>

• Monitoring project cost and providing cost reports.

<\/div>
Handling variations and finalizing them.

.Utilizing cost planning, estimating, cost analysis, cost -in -use studies, and
<\/div>
value management techniques to establish project budgets.
<\/div>
Identifying, evaluating, and estimating levels of project risks and advising
<\/div>
the organization on risk management strategies.
<\/div>
Collaborate with the design team from the initial concept stage to provide
<\/div>
valuable input and ideas.
<\/div>
Prepare and maintain project documents, including correspondence,
<\/div>
meeting minutes, and notes.
<\/div>
Pay meticulous attention to detail to minimize errors.
<\/div>
Implement processes to ensure project progress visibility to the teams.
<\/div><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>
A bachelor's degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
<\/div>

2 -5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the UAE or a similar region, with expertise in Pre -Contract and Post -Contract phases.

<\/div>
Familiarity with UAE construction laws, regulations and building codes.
<\/div>
Knowledge of standard methods of measurements, POMI.
<\/div>
Membership in relevant professional organizations is a plus but not mandatory.
