    Description
    OurClient, a highly successful and growing firm of accountants basedin Maidstone is looking for a Payroll Manager to join their team.The practice provides a holistic accounting service to theirclients across accounts, tax payroll, bookkeeping, CIS and VAT andservices clients of all sizes across a range of sectors includingmanufacturing, professional services, marketing, sales, healthcare,start ups ect.

    Thisis a pivotal payroll position where you will report in to thePartners and have full autonomy of the firms payroll department.There is also scope to get involved in other areas of the practicetoo, should you wish, such as bookkeeping, vat etc. This practicepromotes a fantastic work life balance and hybridworking.

    • Managemultiple payrolls for a diverse client portfolio.
    • Support the team with processes relevant to payroll, includingstarters and leavers.
    • Ensure accurate information is obtained from clients to validatepayrolldata.
    • Assistwith maintaining pension records, including processing payrollpayments and statutoryreductions.
    • Completeyear-end processes andsubmissions.
    • Managing queries related to tax, benefits, salary,allowances.
    • Actas a mentor to junior members of theteam.
    • Supportthe Partners with networking and business developmentopportunities.


    Requirements

    • Theideal candidate for the positions will have either bureau oraccountancy practice payrollexperience.
    • BeCIPP qualified, part qualified or qualified byexperience.
    • Haveexperience in dealing with a mix of weekly and monthlypayrolls.
    • Behard-working and up for a challenge in a fast-paced workingenvironment.
    • Havegood software and technical payrollknowledge.
