Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Store In-charge.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our company's inventory and materials management, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.

You will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing stock levels, and supporting our operations to meet customer demands effectively.

Responsibilities:

Manage the daytoday operations of the company's storeroom and inventory, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials and supplies.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and transactions using manual or computerized systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with established procedures.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials, negotiate pricing and terms, and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify stock accuracy, identify discrepancies, and reconcile variances.
Monitor stock levels and reorder points, anticipate demand, and initiate procurement activities to replenish inventory as needed, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
Ensure proper storage and handling of materials, including hazardous or sensitive items, in compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
Supervise and train storekeepers and other personnel involved in inventory management, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback as needed.
Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, operations, and finance, to coordinate material requirements and support project schedules and deadlines.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in inventory management or related field is a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing demands in a fastpaced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Knowledge of inventory control principles, supply chain management, and warehouse safety regulations.
Detailoriented and analytical mindset, with the ability to identify and resolve issues, analyze data, and make informed decisions.
Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and teamwork, with a focus on delivering quality service and support.
