    Job Description

    FINANCIAL:

    • To assist duringpreparation of the yearly revenue & expense budget.
    • To actively contribute to the Departmentsfinancial and administrative activities to ensure that yearlyrevenue

    ADMINISTRATIVE:

    • To prepare and submit relevantadministration tasks in a timely and accurate manner such as salescall schedules sales call reports and monthly reports to the DOS.
    • To participate in preparing the sales actionplans attend sales meetings; develop new ideas such as specialpackages programs promotional activities undertaken by salesdepartment F&B spa and other hotel revenue centres.
    • To work closely with the sales team in thepreparation of personal sales goals on a monthly quarterly andannual basis and to complete a report and analysis at the end ofeach month.

    OPERATIONAL:

    • To respond to all inquiries within24 hours.
    • To set up appointments and makepersonal sales calls telemarketing and site inspections to allexisting and potential accounts.
    • Tonegotiate with all customers and send out offers/contractsregarding individual and group business.
    • Tobe aware of all market trends and share it to team so that acollective action can be implemented.
    • Toconsistently interact with key clients focusing on high profileguests.
    • To maintain an efficient customerdatabase system (OPERA) this is essential in generating salesactivities report.
    • To update customers withthe latest developments in the hotel and inform hotel management ofall changes in the customer profile.
    • To seekout and target new customers new sales opportunities and initiateaction plan to secure new business for the Hotel.
    • To come prepared on weekly Sales and Revenue meetings
    • To keep the DOS and DOSM promptly and fullyinformed of all problems or concerns so that corrective action canbe taken on time.
    • To adhere to theDepartment and Hotels standard operating procedures (SOPs)
    • To ensure strict confidentiality ofinformation in the Department and Hotel.
    • Tocarry out duties projects and other assignments as required by DOS

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 3 years experience in asales position in hospitality
    • Degree/Diplomain Hotel Management / Business Administration
    • Strong knowledge of Opera & Microsoft Office
    • Understands the local culture and haveworked in the region
    • Fluency in English andother languages written and spoken is preferred
