    At Eram Talent, we are currently seeking a highly skilled Traffic Safety Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As a Traffic Safety Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of transportation infrastructure in the country.

    In this role, you will be responsible for conducting traffic safety studies, analyzing traffic data, and recommending improvements to enhance road safety. You will also be involved in the design and implementation of traffic control measures and systems, including traffic signals, signs, and road markings.

    The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in traffic engineering, with a focus on safety. You should have a solid understanding of international traffic safety standards and guidelines, such as AASHTO and MUTCD. Additionally, you should be highly skilled in using traffic analysis software, such as VISSIM, to model and simulate traffic patterns and scenarios.

    To succeed in this role, you must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as strong attention to detail. You should be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and stakeholders, and be able to present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.

    Requirements

    • As the successful candidate, you must hold Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis on Transportation & Traffic Engineering.
    • You must have 10-15 years of experience in Traffic Engineering, Highway Design, Transportation Planning & Traffic Safety Studies, including a strong track record in delivering results. The experience should be comprehensive, covering both technical and practical aspects.
    • You must have an excellent ability to communicate in English with peers as well as members of management, and be able to produce clear and concise oral and written reports in English.
    • You must have knowledge and experience of using international standards such as AASHTO - Green Book, HCM, HSM, MUTCD, and ITE & FHWA guidelines .
    • You must have excellent knowledge of transportation planning evaluation tools and procedures, data manipulation and proficiency in the use of relevant software's (e.g., AutoCAD, SYNCHRO, SYDRA, VISSIM, HCS, MS Offices)
