Description

Contribute to the creation/improvement of Internal Audit deliverables and documentation, such as the (risk-based) Annual Audit Plan, Risk Assessments, Audit Programs, IA presentations of strategy and results to the Owners and Senior Management.

Complete audit engagements in conformance with auditing procedures and within the budgeted time frames. IA scope covers financial audits, IT general controls, internal control assessment, operational performance, compliance with Regulations & Corporate P&Ps, contracts, 'adhoc' (incl. fraud) investigations and Risk Management reviews; for the hospitality Business Unit.
Perform audit procedures, such as interviews, process reviews, risk assessments, test of controls, review of supporting documentation, identify issues and root causes, document the audit findings as per IA Standards, etc.
Challenge current processes and identify opportunities for process/control improvement, revenue and cost saving opportunities.
Prepare audit reports which include actionable recommendations to address risks identified and add value.
Communicate with Management as needed during the internal audit process. Communicate the results of the audit engagements via written reports and oral presentations to Management. Obtain Management Responses, including the timeline for implementation of the corrective action plan and the person responsible.
Perform other work related to Internal Audit or Risk Management, as assigned by Internal Audit Management.
Develop and maintain productive relationships throughout the Hospitality Business Unit and within the Department.
Pursue professional development opportunities, including training's and professional association memberships, and shares information gained with team members.
Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding the regulation, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.
Represent Internal Audit on internal project teams.
