    Job Summary:

    As the Sales Coordinator you are, with the guidance of the Cluster Manager Sales – Meeting & Events, responsible for implementing all sales strategies and activities particularly the Conference and Banqueting and Events using the Opera system as per the standard, which is crucial to evaluate the past data and for future forecasting.

    General Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assist your Team Members to maintaining an active relationship with our main bookers from Professional Conference Organizers, Destination Management Companies, MICE Departments of Travel Agencies and Tourism Authority to increase customer satisfaction and business to properties
    • Maintain a close communication with all Outbound Sales, Area Sales Offices and Catering & Events Departments in order to work as one team, on leads and achieving loyalty of Guests to Hotels
    • Ensure your performance of IFH Mystery Calls is as per the Standard and your overall result does not drop below 70%
    • Ensure that all incoming requests are handled, under the guidance of the Director of F&B/ Sales, jointly with the concerned Sales Person and as per the Standards including an active follow up on sent offers and cross-selling in case of non-availability
    • Ensure the hand over process of signed contracts to the respective Hotels is as per the Standards and assistance to the Operational Departments is provided if required
    • Maintain an updated and efficient filing system of all of hard copy files as well as the shared drive for the Department
    • Promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and an extremely high standard of social skills
    • Maintain good product knowledge of all properties in your Area as well as a good understanding of the major Hotels and direct competition in your Area
    • Ensure to forward all irregularities that you encounter in your Department or any other Department of your Area to the Director of Sales - MICE and/or the Area Director of Sales in order to maintaining Standards & Policies and to maximise Customer Satisfaction
    • Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests' and Colleagues' health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
    • Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
