As an MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Project Manager, your roles and responsibilities typically include:

Project Planning:
You will be responsible for developing a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. This involves analyzing project requirements, identifying risks, and creating a roadmap for successful project completion.

Team Management:
You will oversee a team of engineers, technicians, and other project personnel. This includes assigning tasks, providing guidance and support, and ensuring effective collaboration among team members.

Budget Management:
You will be responsible for monitoring and managing the project budget, tracking expenses, and controlling costs. This includes reviewing project estimates, negotiating with vendors and subcontractors, and maintaining financial records.

Procurement:
You will coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and services needed for the project. This involves identifying reliable suppliers, obtaining competitive bids, negotiating contracts, and ensuring on-time delivery.

Stakeholder Management:
You will communicate and coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, contractors, and government agencies. This includes attending meetings, providing progress updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring timely decision-making.

Quality Assurance:
You will ensure that all MEP systems meet the required quality standards, codes, and regulations. This involves conducting inspections, coordinating with inspectors, and resolving any quality issues that may arise during the project.

Risk Management:
You will identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on the project.

This includes monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or roadblocks that may arise, and implementing contingency plans when necessary.

Documentation:
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate project documentation, including plans, specifications, contracts, change orders, and reports. This includes maintaining a central repository for project information and ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping.

Construction Coordination:
You will work closely with the construction team to ensure the smooth installation and commissioning of MEP systems.

This includes coordinating construction activities, conducting regular site visits, and resolving any conflicts or issues that may arise during construction.

Project Closure:

You will oversee the completion and handover of the project, ensuring that all necessary documentation, permits, and warranties are obtained.

This includes conducting final inspections, addressing punch lists, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Salary:
AED15, AED20,000.00 per month
