Qualifications:

Make sure that all copyright regulations are met, not just with text but also with audio and video as well.

Collaborate with outside parties to secure required licenses as needed.

Regularly provide video clips and other content to our Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter sites and help with our social media promotion strategy.

Make sure the film upholds our brand values and helps spread positive awareness of the university.
Applicants with prior photography experience may be requested to draw upon such expertise when the need arises.
Conceive, organize, film, and edit audio and video, delivering a finished product on time.
Carry out the duties associated with operating video equipment, such as cameras, teleprompters, microphones, and the like, as required.
It's imperative that the final product's audio and visual quality meet our high standards.
Serve as the production's director, overseeing everything from camera work and lighting to talent selection and sound mixing.
Send your films to social media and upload them to sites like YouTube and Vimeo. Keep tabs on viewership stats to expand your sphere of influence.

Always be aware of what's happening in your field and what new developments have been made in computer and video technology.

Skills:

Familiarity with various camera setups, such as the Sony FS7 and A7S, and with remote filming via zoom, skype, and other ways.

We now use Adobe Premier and Final Cut Pro for video editing, and anybody with professional knowledge and prior experience with audio and lighting gear should also be able to use these tools.

Experience with media capture/import, raw media organization, video/audio editing, media management, and project archive storage is highly desirable.
Competence with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator is a must.
Bachelor's degree in video production or equivalent experience, with evidence of producing a variety of high-caliber projects.
