    ROLESUMMARY

    Responsiblefor all private channel related commercial activities includingactivity planning and monitoring alignment with commercial teamsimplementation of Joint Business Plans and leading development& implementation of overall channel commercial strategies.The incumbent will also be responsible for developing marketinsight details for effective decision making and also to supportsales team and controls for effective monitoring of ourbusiness

    What youlldo

    • Develop short and longterm channel specific plans based on thorough understanding ofmarket conditions and trends.
    • Effectivelynegotiate mutually beneficial solutions with various stakeholdersand influence key decisionmakers ( internal and external ) toimprove competitiveness of our brands and gainshare
    • Lead the development and implementationof Business Plans with key customers to elevate AZs partnership toa strategic level for short and long termgains
    • Identify and monitor competitors andmarket conditions or changes in the industry that may affectsales
    • Prioritize channel activities formaximum returns
    • Develop strategies andactivities that help the company become the supplier ofchoice
    • Monitor activities at the trade channellevels for the gathering of insight and also to track our alignedactivities with the accounts
    • Establish andmanage business insights and business analytics for fact baseddecision making
    • Manage the process foroversight of customer inventory for top SKUs and identifyopportunities and risk
    • Developing effectivegovernance to monitor our trade management process as per theSOPs.
    • Providing feedback and CFTalignment
    • Outstanding customer orientation andresponsiveness
    • Strong ability to buildsustainable relationships ability to communicate efficiently on alllevels
    • High level of businessacumen
    • Position AZ as a partner of choice fordifferent stakeholders
    • Essential Disease& Products Knowledge
    • Annualcertification with full alignment to all related SOPs policies andlocal regulations for self and team.
    • Meet& exceed Commercial KPIs
    • Encourageteams to provide market intelligence feedback
    • Care about AZ assets by optimize the company resources to report:expiry stock average of key brands and key accounts inclusionsstatus of new launches.
    • Ensure all activitiesin line with related SOPs policies and localregulations

    Corporate Responsibilities:

    • Maintain highest ethical standards and work in a spirit ofAstraZeneca Code of Ethics following rules & norms set bycorporate policies
    • Ensure that all conductedactivities are done in accordance with local legislation andcorporate standards.
    • Timely report (as perrespective procedures): health/environment/wellbeing relatedaccidents; adverse events that you became aware about; change instatus of your Conflict ofInterest.

    Essential for the role

    • Minimum of 4 years experience in pharmaceuticalsales.
    • Previous experience in retail andcommercial operation is preferable.
    • Demonstrate leadership capabilities and financialmanagement.
    • Strong oral written and listeningskills that are demonstrated through effective communication withcolleagues and customers.
    • Interpersonal skillsInfluencing negotiation collaboration and teamwork
    • Effective analytical thinking problemsolving and decision making
    • Planning andorganization skills
    • Emotionalintelligence.
    • BusinessAcumen.

    Desirable for therole

    • Preferable priorexperience in multinational pharmaceutical/equivalentcompanies.
    • Knowledge of AZ organizationalstructure and key internal customers.
    • Effective use of key software products (Eg. Excel PowerPointWord)
