Job Title:
Store Keeper


JOB PURPOSE:


Efficiently manage and oversee all store related operations of inventory management, allocation of manpower, stock segregation, dispatch & deliveries and support the logistics supervisor in annual perpetual counting.


Accountabilities

  • Store Operations: Oversee and allocate on daily basis the available manpower and distribute the responsibilities between the team to receive pick and dispatch as per the inbound shipments and dispatches schedules.


Cross check the items quantities of all inbound shipments are unpacked and segregated and after the items are prepared for dispatch, plus cross checking any sales return quantities.


  • Perpetual/

Annual Count:

Effectively contribute and support the supervisor in the annual and perpetual counts and provides a justification for any shortages/excess cases.


  • Sales Return: Receive and count all sales returns, issue the check lists, sign and forward to sales for posting the sales returns in Autoline.
  • Batteries Custody: Ensure that pickers are checking and recharging batteries as per agreed maintenance process and controls the FIFO rule compliance in all dispatches.
  • Warehouse Keeping: Ensure that all products are stored in the correct bin/location.
  • HSE (Health, Safety & Environment): Conduct all activities in compliance with HSE policies & procedure and encourage colleagues to practice the same. Observe precautionary measures to avoid occupational hazards. Job Specific Information
  • Store Keeper will be closely working with the Coordinator Logistics and overseeing all store related operations to ensure low variances and dispatch/deliveries in accordance to the set time lines. 4. COMMUNICATION & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS Internal External

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES Qualification (e.g. Academic Qualification, Certifications, Licenses)

  • Secondary School Education Certificate.

Experience

  • 4 years of minimum experience in a warehouse/logistics environment in UAE/GCC; out of which 2 years should be in similar role.
