Client Consultation:
Meeting with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget for the project. Collaborating with them to determine the scope of work and establish project goals.

Design Development:
Creating design concepts, mood boards, and space plans based on the client's needs and preferences. Selecting appropriate color schemes, materials, furniture, fixtures, and accessories to create a cohesive and visually appealing design.

Space Planning:
Analyzing the functional requirements of a space and developing efficient layouts that optimize the use of available space. Considering factors such as traffic flow, furniture arrangement, and accessibility.

3D Visualization:
Utilizing software tools, such as AutoCAD or 3D modeling software, to create visual representations of design concepts. Presenting these visuals to clients to help them visualize the final design.

Material and Product Selection:
Researching and sourcing materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment that align with the design concept and budget. Considering factors such as quality, durability, sustainability, and aesthetics.

Collaboration and Coordination:
Working closely with architects, contractors, suppliers, and other professionals involved in the project. Ensuring effective communication and coordination to achieve the desired design outcome.

Project Management:
Overseeing the implementation of the design plan, including coordinating contractors, tracking progress, and managing timelines and budgets. Conducting site visits to ensure that the design is being executed as planned.

Documentation:
Creating detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation to communicate design intent to stakeholders and contractors. This includes floor plans, elevations, construction details, and material schedules.

Building Codes and Regulations:

Ensuring compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards to ensure the safety and functionality of the designed space.


Client Presentation:
Presenting design concepts, material samples, and 3D visuals to clients in a clear and engaging manner. Explaining the design rationale and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

Continuous Learning:
Staying updated on the latest trends, materials, technologies, and best practices in the field of interior design. Participating in professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.


Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

Interior Designer: 5 years (preferred)


Ability to Commute:

  • Ras alKhaimah (required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Ras alKhaimah: Relocate before starting work (required)
