JobSummary.

Responsible for smooth andsafe running of a workshop where process and flow relatedequipments are assembled and tested.The role will be measure basedon smooth and safe running of the workshop and best manpowerutilization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and assign dayto day tasks to workers & Subcontractors appointed by NOVand make sure they are fully aware of their obligations &responsibilities to meets target and follow all NOV safetyprotocols.
• Schedules and approves timecardsvacation and overtime of workers which involves 3 rd party worksand subcontractors also.
• Responsible for allworkshop activities which involve (but not limited to) assembly andtesting of skid based vessel & pump packages ALS systeminvolving corelift and HPU and other PFT products
• Must ensure that company policies and procedures arebeing enforced and adhered to at all times.
• Ensure that all Project / Company HSE goals are achievedand where possible exceeded.
• Responsible forthe Health and Safety of all personnel working in workshop. Ensurethat all workshop personnel are aware of safe working practices& procedures and are provided with a safe workingenvironment.
• Ensure that all work withinworkshop area of responsibility is carried out with good safetypractices and full adherence to any work permit system that is inoperation JHA and RA is reviewed and communicated to all workforceensure daily TBT safety training and HSE communications are beingcommunicated clearly to the workforce and recorded as per procedurein cooperation with safety officer.
• Provide /Arrange required technical & safety trainings to theworkers as directed by Fabrication Manager.
• Responsible for quality of the product being build inworkshop and make sure all proper processes are followed as perengineering recommendation and vendor IOM for each equipment.
• conduct inspection visits to subcontractors /fabricators / Vendor to review progress quality resolve problems ifany. Local Travel may be needed by own car.
• Verify that the drawings and specifications provideadequate instructions for the work and advise the engineering and /or Projects of any deficiencies or clarifications needed. Identifyany problem areas in the project conduct necessary meeting /discussion and collaboratively find the solution.
• Constant communication with Project and Procurement teamto keep the track of project material and plan assembly and testingactivities accordingly.
• Ensure before anywork commences that all required material equipment tools workspaceetc. are available to avoid abortive and unproductive use ofManpower.
• Maintain primary contact and a goodworking relationship with sub contractors for Fabrication and allother external agencies working in NOV PFT Facility.
• Ensure that all work is to the required standard and thatall drawings specifications inspections and certifications requiredare strictly adhered to.
• Ensure that allCompany systems of Quality checks and Factory Acceptance Tests areperformed and recorded as per project requirements.
• Ensure all measuring devises are calibrated all liftingtools and equipments are certified by authorized 3 rd party.

• Basicknowledge of Electrical panels starter VFD / PLC and electricalinstruments.
• Must be able to read and followengineering drawings PIDs vendor material datasheets and IOMs andimplement on JOB as required
• Should be ableto conduct FAT (Factory acceptance test) by him self and generatereport which may involve customer witnesses also
• Should be able to follow Quality procedures and able toconduct quality inspection of the skid packages.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION/ EXPERINCEREQUIRED:

Essential

• Diploma in MechanicalEngineering with minimum 7 years of Experience
• Experience in Oil and Gas industry with rotatingequipment skidbased packages assembly and testing experience.
• Candidate must be familiar with HSErequirements involved in job.
• Basic MicrosoftOffice knowledge
• UAE Driving license.

Desirable

• Bachelors Degree inMechanical Engineering with minimum 7 years of Experience insimilar role
• Experience in pump packagesassembly and testing
• Experience in the MiddleEast
• Knowledge of local Compliancerequirements and laws
