Job Title: Mechanical Draftsman
Location: United Arab Emirates
Salary Range: 2500 AED 3500 AED

Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Draftsman with a solid background in building construction to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in drafting mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing and fire protection systems. This role requires a professional who can create detailed drawings that meet the requirements of our projects and comply with UAE regulations.

RequirementsResponsibilities:

Prepare detailed mechanical drawings including HVAC plumbing and fire protection systems for residential commercial and industrial buildings.
Work closely with mechanical engineers and project managers to translate concepts and information into detailed technical drawings.
Ensure all mechanical drawings comply with local regulations building codes and safety standards.
Revise update and maintain mechanical drawings throughout the project lifecycle incorporating changes as directed by engineers.
Use computeraided design (CAD) software to prepare drawings and layouts with precision and accuracy.
Coordinate with other draftsmen and project team members to ensure consistency in design documentation.
Participate in project meetings to provide updates on drawing progress and to discuss challenges.
Manage and archive drawings and documentation efficiently ensuring easy access and retrieval.

Essential Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of UAE experience in building construction specifically in mechanical drafting.
Proficient in CAD software with a strong emphasis on AutoCAD and Revit.

Proficiency in using billing and inventory management systems. Basic understanding of audiovisual equipment and technology. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Sales-driven with a passion for exceeding targets.
