    ESSENTIAL DUTIES& RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Deliver courses to students inspecified discipline areas of study
    • Evaluateand monitor individual student progress and provide feedback tosustain student success
    • Research, organize andmanage instructional resources, courses outlines, and communitynetworks
    • Conduct high-quality research inhis/her own field and publish research outcomes in reputablejournals and conferences
    • Ensure a respectfuland culturally sensitive learning environment in allcollege-focused activities
    • Establish andmaintain effective work relationships across the organization andcommunity
    • Motivate and inspire confidence inothers (students and colleagues) to overcome limitations topersonal growth and success
    • Actively seek outmethods, procedures, and resources to best achieve course andlesson objectives
    • Maintain relationships withstudents that are conducive to learning
    • Performmiscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

    KNOWLEDGE &SKILLS:

    • Ability to communicate effectively,both orally and in writing
    • Familiarity with the"Credit Hour" academicsystem
    • Ability to supervise studentwork
    • Ability to provide academic advising forstudents
    • Ability to conduct independentresearch and publish in reputable journals andconferences
    • Ability to work effectively withdiverse team members
    • Knowledge of academicprogram planning and implementation
    • Familiaritywith Learning Management Systems(LMS)
