ITTConnect is seeking a Technical Business Analyst with experience in the Financial Services / Banking / Hedge Fund / Investment Bank to join our team. Our client is a major IT Consulting firm with HQ in Europe, offices in 15 countries and over 10k employees, they are experts in tailored Applications Services to Banks, Insurance and Industry clients.

Job Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY Hybrid, few days onsite few days remote

Our client has an in-house cash and entity management system for its global payments processing. The system services all major business lines, with users in treasury operations, legal, and tax groups and is critical for the firm s operations and has a large user-base. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to drive the ongoing development and refinement of this platform

Responsibilities:

• Help define detailed functional specifications for new features based on existing UI/UX paradigms;
  
• Assisting with functional reviews, testing and validation during the software development lifecycle;
  
• Work with businesses and internal teams to get a deep understanding and expertise on the applications under Global Payments Platform;
  
• Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes;
  
• Identify and analyze business needs, conducts requirement gathering, and define project scope and objectives;
  
• Translate business requirements into application requirements;
  
• Work with project and program managers, technical leads, business owners and developers throughout the whole SDLC.
  

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst
  
• MUST HAVE experience in Financial Services / Banking (Hedge fund or investment bank preferred)
  
• Experience working on an Agile environment
  
• Hands on experience using Jira
• Hands on experience using SQL
  
• Experience defining functional architecture, business requirements and functional tests
  
• Seasoned in business analysis for the banking sector with exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
  
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  
• Demonstrated ability to work well with different business users and stakeholders groups gathering business requirements and writing functional specification documents
  
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
