    Description

    We have an opportunity for Head of Retail Banking with a large international retail bank, with branches across the UAE in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.

    This position is responsible for developing a cohesive retail strategy for UAE region and will be leading new initiatives, service & quality, delivery channels (ADC), marketing, liability generation and consumer.

    Supervising the retail sales structure of all UAE branches will be responsible for achievement of all KPIs.

    Manages and builds a sales and service culture throughout the UAE, developing staff capability, and enabling the achievement of increased market acceptance and member product penetration.


    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Planning & Management:

    • Formulation of the Deposit strategy, a critical component of the Bank's overall growth.
    -Leading field teams of UAE region in the execution of the approved strategy at a local tactical level. -Regular monitoring of performance against strategy and recommendations of any tactical adjustments necessary.-Identifies, researches, formulates and implements approved retail opportunities in conjunction with Managers that are congruent with Bank's strategic direction and contribute to growth and profitability within the region.-Responsible for meeting with Branches regularly including performance reviews with Managers and meeting with staff directly to discuss their own performance and ambitions and to discuss progress and barriers to performance success in order to manage outcomes.-Responsible for identifying and developing career path opportunities for staff. Overall responsibility for effective training and development for staff in this region enabling/empowering them with the skills, tools and resources to follow through with their respective teams-Overall responsibility for identifying and developing talent with the region.
    KPIs§

    To achieve the Current Account Deposits, as set out in the annual budget plan by Board§

    Proactive coordination with IT & Operations in ensuring delivery & roll out of complete internet banking, mobile application & net banking portal for SME customers§

    To fix the basic gaps in target setting & performance monitoring mechanism of branches & their sales staff§

    Headcount rationalization while ensuring right people in right roles§

    Proactive participation & coordination with the relevant stakeholders to bring visible improvement in service quality and related KPIs§

    Improvement in Compliance & Control Environment and Audit ratings

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Master's degree with skills in Banking finance & sales

    Minimum Experience:
    Minimum 10 years of experience of working in a financial institution, with at least 3 years in a bank
