    Responsibilities

    • Participate in I&C orAutomation Engineering projects for the design and implementationof Instrumentation & Control for oil & gas andprocess industry projects.
    • Knowledge ofHookups, Level Sketch, Inst. Location Layouts, Cable Tray layouts,Control room layouts, Cable and Junction Box Schedule, Wiring andInterconnection drawings, Instruments andFittings.
    • Functional loop schematics, LoopWiring Diagram, Shutdown narratives and LogicDiagrams
    • Tender, CAPEX supportetc.
    • Inter-Disciplinary Activities P&IDreview and update, 3-D Modelreview
    • Participation in HAZOP / SILReviews.
    • Hands on Experience following designCalculations; Inst. Sizing Control Valve Sizing (InstruCalc,CONVAL), Flow meter sizing, Safety valve sizing, Air and powerconsumption calculations, Intrinsic safety validation calculation,Thermowell Wake freq. calculations.
    • InstrumentSelection - All types of field instruments. Exposure to selectionof instruments and systems for Hazardousareas.
    • Experience in preparation / review /approval of min. following procurement deliverables; MaterialRequisition, TBE, Purchase Requisition and Vendor Drawing Reviewand approvals.
    • Control Systems DCS, ESD (SIS),PLCS, package control systems, Fire & Gas systems(FGS).
    • Must have worked as Lead InstrumentationEngineer for mid to large scale Petrochemical / Oil & Gasprojects.
    • Estimation of engineering efforts,Monitoring and control of departmental cost andschedule,
    • Client meetings and reviews, Sitesurveys and reports.
    • Attend and support sitesurveys, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT's), Site AcceptanceTest (SAT's) and commissioning activities for deliveredsystems.
    • Review, comment, and provide input onthe project schedule and project costestimate.
    • Support procurement with vendorslists development, requisition development, technical bidtabulations and clarifications, purchase recommendations, monitorprogress and maintain communications with vendors asrequired.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's DegreeB.E./B-Tech is required, preferably in one of the followingdisciplines: Instrumentation & Controls, Electronics,Chemical Engineering, Electrical, ComputerScience.
    • Must have between 5- and12-years' I&Cexperience.
    • Experience with an operatingcompany, systems vendor, or engineering services provider for theonshore or offshore oil & gas and/or energy industry, ispreferred.
    • Experience in Distributed ControlSystems (DCS) hardware, network architecture, integration,configuration and programming, industrial protocols, HMI Graphicsand databases, and SCADA System configuration and installations isadded advantage.
    • Proficient knowledge ofP&IDs and instrumentation/controlequipment.
    • Knowledge of MS Office applications(Excel, Word, Access, MS Teams, etc.).
    • Strongwritten and verbal communication skills; must be able tocommunicate effectively with coworkers, clients, andvendors.
