We are urgently looking for an Occupational Therapist (DOH Licensed)

Must be bilingual (Arabic-English)


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Currently based in Abu Dhabi (or willing to relocate).
  • Flexible with a Positive Attitude.
  • Experience in a Homecare/Hospital is an advantage.
  • DOH/DHA Licensed.
  • Immediately available.

JOB DESCRIPTION:


  • Assess, analyze, and plan therapy management.
  • Helping children achieve developmental milestones such as fine motor skills and handeye coordination.
  • Helping clients regain or enhance their daily lives after specific events such as hip replacement or stroke.
  • Assessing and modifying clients' home and community environments to improve their safety and independence.
  • Prescribing and educating clients and carers in using adaptive equipment to assist function.
  • Assessing clients' cognition, function, and psychosocial needs.
  • Using specialized assessments to determine the functional requirements of various jobs, and clients' capacity to return to work.
  • Designing and coordinating graded returntowork programs. Educating clients in safe work practices.
  • Modifying the work environment to suit the needs of individuals to prevent or minimize injuries.
  • Demonstrate professional practice.
