What you'll do:
Based in Dubai, you will be focused on constantly developing and leading a team of business development and sales managers across the region to close sales delivering revenue and EBITDA targets as well as creating value for the future through growth.
This will be done by building a strong, energy transition-weighted pipeline of opportunities, primarily in the mining, oil and gas and utility sectors.
You will be required to work effectively across the region and the wider Aggreko team by leveraging commercial, product, engineering and finance teams to develop innovative and class-leading solutions encompassing a range of technologies including thermal, renewable and hybrid solutions for onYou'll have the following skills and experience:
Leadership:
you will demonstrate your ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing sales team across multiple cultures, geographies and sectors.
Team management:
you will be able to provide examples of how you have set clear targets, support detailed planning and manage performance.
Strategic thinking:
you will demonstrate your experience in formulating and executing effective sales strategies based on market trends and buying behaviour, that are aligned with the company's goals and vision.
Business & commercial acumen:
you will have an excellent understanding of the industry and market trends, customer behaviour and the competitive landscape.
Sales expertise:
You will have a deep understanding of complex independent power project (IPP) sales processes, techniques, and metrics, and the ability to coach and mentor sales professionals to enhance their performance in delivering $50-200m revenue opportunities.
