Job summary

The purpose of this job is to be part of Istituto Marangoni teachers' education team, teaching on a range of BA and MA courses in the field of
Visual Design.

As teacher, you'll also be involved in wider enterprise, course administration, scholarship and research developments in your area of expertise: Graphic Design, Publishing Graphics, Visual Brand Identity, Communication Design, Art Direction, Multimedia Design, Motion Graphics, Printing Technologies.

You'll use this activity in your teaching and in supporting educational partners to develop research-engaged practice.

R&D Activities - Promote and develop the R&D activities assigned by the Director of Education. Support the R&D of the School and the connection with other scientific partner

Industry Project - Initiate & foster engagement with relevant industries, organizations and professional bodies to develop opportunities for the School in the field.

Educational and Professional Requirements

Bachelor's and Master Degree in the area of expertise above mentioned;
PhD is a Plus;
Min. 3 years of experience as teacher in an International Institution (min. University Level);
Education Qualification Equivalency from the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates;
Relevant teaching experience students from a wide variety of age groups and skill levels (undergraduate level, postgraduate level);
Relevant experience with creating educational materials and extracurricular activities to challenge students and meet curriculum objectives;
Based in the UAE or in Gulf area;
Available for full time or parttime job;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail as well criticalthinking skills;
Excellent research skills, pursuing research activities, writing research proposals, research reports, papers and other publications, managing research budgets, preparing bids for funding for departmental research projects;
Strong relationshipbuilding skills to build networks and solid connections with the luxury (fashion or design) industry.
