Role Description

The Marine Electrician is a full-time hybrid role located in Abu Dhabi that allows some remote work. The Marine Electrician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing complex electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures onboard marine vessels. The Marine Electrician will also be responsible for managing the electrical power generation systems and any associated Navy or other military equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electrical Work, including electrical system and equipment installation, repair, and maintenance
• Knowledge in Electrical Equipment and systems diagnostic methods
• Expertise in Electricity, including electrical controls, schematics, and electrical safety practices
• Proficiency in Power Generation, including diesel engines, control systems, and generator maintenance
• Must have knowledge about Relays, sensors, PLC panels and transformers
• Must have knowledge about insulation, rewiring and troubleshooting
• Must have knowledge about engines and generators
• Prior experience working with the Navy or other military organizations and equipment is preferred
• Electrical diploma and some certification required
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and in a team, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail, strong organization, and time management skills
