    Job PurposeThis job role is to ensure that all Curved Block Assembly work and related activities are executed safely, effectively, and efficiently in accordance with applicable technical specifications, company policies, procedures, and work instructions.

    It is also required to perform Curved Block Assembly production management in accordance with documented plans and requirement for projects and continually improve Curved Block Assembly productivity.

    Key Accountabilities


    Curved Block Assembly Production managementMonitoring productivity of Curved Block Assembly activities in shipbuilding and Rig construction including subcontractors' production and ensuring timely completion of works fulfilling quality and safety.

    Collaborating with other departments/zones to develop and implement new processes, systems, and procedures that continually increase efficiency and productivity.

    Identify and troubleshoot any issues or defects in the curved block assembly process and develop solutions to address these issues.

    Monitor project timelines and budgets and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
    Provide technical support and guidance to production staff.

    Planning for Curved Block AssemblyDeveloping a clear production execution strategy and plan for Curved Block Assembly, Planning, monitoring & following up load analysis, block transportation/arrangement, and manpower.

    Checking and taking measurement for materials and consumables for the project in advance.

    HSE ManagementPursuing zero harm to employees by ensuring that all curved block assembly activities are executed safely in compliance with IMI HSE standards/procedures.

    Resource ManagementTaking primary responsibility for allocating and managing manpower and resources in accordance with the project schedule and budget.
    Monitoring actual asset costs/man-hours against budgeted costs/man-hours and take corrective action for overruns.
    Coordinating with other production departments/zones and the Asset Management group to avoid asset and resource duplication.

    Training for Curved Block AssemblyPreparing work procedures and instructions for curved block assembly activities required for shipbuilding and rig projects.

    Preparing painting training materials for workers and production managers and conducting appropriate training regularly.

    Qualification & ExperienceEducation:
    Bachelor's Degree in shipbuilding or Naval Architecture engineering, or equivalent

    Experience:
    3-9 years of relevant experience in shipbuilding or other engineering company for experienced hireLanguages: Fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading)Competencies

    Knowledge of ship engineering and production processes at a professional levelStrong communication skills for internal and external coordination within the organizationAbility to swiftly resolve production issuesLeadership and management skills for handling various situations
