Position : Product Owner / Business Analyst - Aviation Industry

Responsibilities:

• Product Vision and Strategy: Develop a understanding of the aviation industry, market trends, and customer needs. Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with overall business goals.
• Requirements Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and document detailed product requirements. Ensure that product features and functionalities align with regulatory requirements in the aviation industry.
• User Stories and Acceptance Criteria: Create user stories with clear acceptance criteria to guide development teams. Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure a smooth and efficient product development lifecycle. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into technical requirements.
• Release Planning and Coordination: Develop and maintain a release plan, considering dependencies, timelines, and resource constraints. Coordinate release activities and ensure timely delivery of product increments.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Stay informed about industry changes and proactively adjust the product strategy to address emerging challenges.
• Quality Assurance: Work with QA teams to define testing strategies and ensure the delivery of high-quality products. Conduct thorough product testing to validate that requirements have been met.
• Feedback and Iteration: Gather feedback from end-users and stakeholders to continuously improve the product. Iterate on product features based on feedback and changing business needs.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user manuals, release notes, and technical documentation.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with aviation regulations and ensure that the product complies with relevant standards and requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Aviation Management).
• Proven experience as a Product Manager / Product Owner or similar role in the aviation or aerospace industry.
• Strong understanding of aviation technologies, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
