    Description

    Seeking a laboratory assistantto work at a large Pharmaceutical company in ColumbusOhio

    JobSummary

    Support all roles inChemstore depending on the needs at the time. Functions at a highlevel.

    This role supports: Cleaningvalidation/verification process, sample login and destruction,ordering and receiving of inventory. Troubleshoots issues found andcommunicates them to their coach. Fully trained in all areas ofChemStore and able to assist in training asneeded.

    Responsibilities

    • Accepts requests from customers andretrieves samples, standards, reagents, andconsumables.
    • Assembles and deliverers kits,including worksheets, chemicals, and glassware for laboratoryuse.
    • Enters transactions into SAP,LabWare, andAriba to account for customer'srequests.
    • Collects samples/standards when labneed is complete. Prepares them for delivery to Warehouse fordestruction.
    • Prepares samples and performscleaning validation/verifications via the following testingmethods: UV, pH, and total solids.
    • Troubleshootentry errors in Labware, issues in locating standard samples, orany ordering issues.

    Skills&Qualifications

    • Bachelors or Associates in Sciencefield, or Pharmacy Technician background
    • Prefercandidates with Pharmacy Technician experience or Lab Experience atleast 1yr (Lab experience can be fromschool)
    • Strong Communicationskills
    • Previous ph testing, weight variations,UV testing, pipetting, and use of balances a bigplus
    • Prior Inventory management skills aplus
