Fidar is looking for a versatile, creative, and highly organized Brand & Social Media Specialist to join us on a contract basis.
This is a remote-first position, offering the flexibility to work from your own space while remaining deeply integrated into our team's operations.
You will be the voice of Fidar, managing our digital presence while providing critical operational support to our leadership.If you are a storyteller who can also handle the logistics of a growing business, we want to hear from you.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media & Brand Management
Brand Guardian:
Manage and elevate Fidar's brand image across all relevant digital platforms.
Content Creation:
Design, write, and publish brand-aligned content. This includes Fidar's official channels and, at times, the CEO's professional profiles.
Visual Storytelling:
Create or coordinate high-quality graphics and videos that adhere strictly to our brand guidelines and vision.
Growth & Engagement:
Own the posting schedule, monitor community engagement, and report on basic analytics to drive consistent visibility.
Operational & Executive Support
CEO Support:
Provide structured coordination and operational assistance to the CEO to streamline daily priorities.
Startup Operations:
Support internal communications, documentation, and general workflow management suited for a lean, agile team.
Sales & BizDev:
Assist with business development activities, including client follow-ups, outreach support, and the creation of sales enablement content.
The role also requires close collaboration with various teams to maintain brand identity and enhance customer engagement.
Qualifications
Experience: 3–4 years of proven experience in Social Media Management and Content Creation, preferably within Fintech, Cybersecurity, or Tech startups.
Communication:
Exceptional written and spoken English skills. You must draft professional emails and punchy social captions with zero errors.
Content & Design:
Proven copywriting skills and proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and other AI tools.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
The Startup Mindset:
Proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, and a strong team player.
Location/Travel:
This is remote, but you must be able to travel occasionally to our Head Office in Abu Dhabi or other locations for events/meetings.
Engagement DetailsRole Type:
This is a contract-based position. (Does not include additional company perks or benefits).
Compensation:
Fixed contract fee.
Working Hours & Time Zone:
Although this is a remote position, the candidate must align their working hours with the UAE time zone (GST) to ensure seamless collaboration with the CEO.
Future Growth:
This role offers a potential opportunity to relocate to the UAE in the future as the company expands.
Note:
Given the nature of a startup, you may be required to take on reasonable additional tasks aligned with your skills and experience to help Fidar reach its next milestone.
