    Job Description:

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations for our highly adept team in Dubai. As Head of Operations, in close collaboration with our CEO, you will be a key driver in shaping Coral's future. Your primary mission, alongside the CEO, is to lead our team through critical growth phases, overseeing the evolution of our platform, and extending our market impact. Together, you will be responsible for driving the company with a special emphasis on team expansion and strategic scaling, positioning Coral as a prominent player in the sustainability sector.

    Responsibilities

    • Hands-On Operational Leadership: Lead by example and actively participate in the execution of daily operations across departments, while providing guidance and support to the team.
    • Offsetting procurement: Registry account management, inventory and quality assurance, and pipeline offsetting procurement strategy.
    • Strategic Scaling: Collaborate with the CEO to plan and implement scalable processes, systems, and infrastructure, recognizing that additional resources will be added as the company expands.
    • Team Development: Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the existing operations team, while preparing for the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
    • Product development: Collaborate with the CTO and Head of Product to ensure that product strategy aligns with the overall operational goals
    • Operational Strategy: Develop and execute cross-functional operational strategies that align with Coral's vision and growth objectives, with a clear roadmap for expansion into new markets.
    • KPI Monitoring: Continuously monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), leveraging hands-on experience to identify areas for improvement and data-driven decision-making.
    • Resource Management: Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively to achieve operational targets, with plans for resource optimization as the team grows.

    Requirements

    • Proven track record: 5+ years experience running operations, team management and project management in technology companies in a highly dynamic environment. Knowledge of the carbon industry is a plus.
    • Innovative Leadership: Ability to innovate and adapt in the sustainability sector while coordinating across departments.
    • Strategic Agility: Execute sustainability-focused strategies and manage diverse functions efficiently.
    • Change Management: Lead teams through innovation and change across operations, HR, and accounting.
    • Problem Solver: Strong analytical skills for addressing operational, HR, and financial challenges creatively.
    • Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally to drive innovation in all areas, aligning with Coral's sustainability goals.
    • Operational management: Oversee the internal workings of the organization to ensure seamless operations, compliance, and financial efficiency while fostering innovation and sustainability.
    • Flexibility: Adapt to evolving business needs across functions to maintain competitiveness and support startup growth.
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, Master's preferred.
