    JOBSUMMARY

    The position is responsible for implementingquality assurance processes that meet the companys mission andbrand standards target customer needs ensure employee satisfactionand focus on continuous improvement at the property level. Thisposition champions the Quality function and builds support forchange.

    CANDIDATEPROFILE

    Education andExperience

    • 2year degree froman accredited university in Business Administration Hotel andRestaurant Management or related major 3 years experience in theguest services front desk housekeeping sales and marketingmanagement operations or related professionalarea.

    OR

    • 4yearbachelors degree in Business Administration Hotel and RestaurantManagement or related major; 1 year experience in the guestservices front desk housekeeping sales and marketing managementoperations or related professionalarea.

    CORE WORKACTIVITIES

    Managing Quality AssuranceGoals

    • Coaches managers onadopting the Total Quality Management leadershipstyle.
    • Conducts monthlyaudit to ensure compliance with company and brandstandards
    • Makes andexecutes the necessary decisions to keep property moving forwardtoward achievement ofgoals.
    • Directs propertyquality efforts to address critical customerrequirements.
    • Assists withregional and/or companywide implementation of company bestpractices.
    • Facilitatesprocess improvement teams assuring use of the systematic processesand improvement is achievable andmeasurable.

    Managing QualityTools

    • Ensures thatmanagement practices at all levels are aligned with quality toolsby providing training in qualitysciences.
    • Uses datacollection methods to compile display track and analyze defecttrends.
    • Demonstrates andcommunicates key drivers of guest satisfaction for the brandstarget customer.
    • Analyzesissues and identifiestrends.

    Managing the GuestExperience

    • Reviews guestfeedback with leadership team and ensures appropriate correctiveaction is taken.
    • Respondsto and handles guest problems andcomplaints.
    • Stays visibleand interfaces with customers on a regular basis to obtain feedbackon quality of product service levels and overallsatisfaction.
    • Modelsservice behaviors that meet or exceed guestexpectations.
