Job summary
We are looking for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations and period-end close activities while maintaining strong controls and accurate financial records.We require the ability to review work, resolve issues, and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and auditors.
Responsibilities
- Process and upload payments in SAP for approval
Purchase OrdersSupplier InvoicesEmployee ReimbursementsDoctorsMidwivesAndLeadsPaymentsOtheroperationalexpenses - MManage daily banking activitiesUpdate bank statementsUpload approved SAP payments into the bank portalMaintain end-of-day collection summary reportsHandle petty cashand act as custodian of company debit cardsensuring proper documentationand controls
- Prepare payrolland related reconciliationsPost provisionsand accruals as part of month-end closePrepare Accounts Payable ageingand follow up on outstanding itemsPrepare inventory reportsandsupport inventory reconciliationsSupport month-endandy-year-end closingactivitiesensuring accuracyand adherence to deadlines
- Reviewaccounting entriesreconciliationsandsupportingschedulesfor accuracyAssist in preparing managementreportsand basicfinancial analysisIdentify andresolve accounting discrepanciesescalating complex matters when requiredSupport the improvement of accounting processesinternalcontrols
