Job summary
Assist in marine rigging operations on barges jetties pontoons and offshore platforms Handle lifting and securing of marine equipment including fenders gangways buoys and mooring systems Ensure proper ballast control load distribution during marine lifting activities Coordinate with marine crew crane operators and lifting supervisors during offshore operations Follow all HSE rules risk assessments method statements marine safety procedures including permit-to-work toolbox talks weather assessments Stop lifting operations if unsafe conditions are observed Maintain housekeeping around lifting areas Report damaged or defective lifting equipment immediately Assist supervisors operators as required during lifting activities.
