- Ensure that selling strategies areadhered to during negotiations and maximize up sellingopportunities at any times
- Closely monitorrevenue and business from travel trade market.
- Manage hotel sales and marketing plans toensure they accurately interpret and support the objectives of thebusiness and use these plans to focus the sales efforts for allmarket segments
- Meet sales revenue targets on amonthly, quarterly and yearlybasis
- Participates in road shows andpromotional events within the hotel and trade relatedorganizations.
- Generate and maintain majoraccounts and assign segments through various sales activities andset sales objectives, action plans and monthly, quarterly andannual targets
- Negotiates new contracts andrenewal in accordance with current business and price conditions tomeet sales targets.
- Set up and maintain goodworking relationships with all other areas of the hoteloperations.
- Follow-up with clients before,during and after the function/ event/ stay to ensure repeatbusiness.
- Research and present lost businessreports at the weekly SalesMeetings.
