Proposal Boutique are the leading marriage proposal planning company in the UAE that plan and setup romantic marriage proposals and date nights all over Dubai.
From romantic beach dinners and rooftops to flash mobs and helicopters, we work with clients from all over the world to give their partner the proposal of her dreams.
We are looking for a freelance event coordinator who will join our boutique company and who will be in charge of bringing the proposal vision to life and make it a magical moment for our couple.
You will take care of the proposal event from start to finish which will include decoration, coordination, and management on the night.
You will manage various suppliers on the evening to ensure that everything comes together smoothly, and the proposal is a huge success.
- Read job sheet, itinerary and other handover details carefully in preparation for the event
- WhatsApp the client 24 hours prior to the event and introduce yourself and answer any queries or concerns they may have
- Prepare the items required for the proposal at the warehouse and ensure that everything is in good working order prior to arriving on site
- Arrive at the venue and take care of all security permits and access to the venue
- Conduct a visual inspection prior to starting the setup to ensure the best angle for the proposal backdrop
- Work to a creative brief or use your own creativity (client dependant) to create a magical proposal setting
- Pay attention to the smallest details to ensure everything is to a high standard
- Liaise with suppliers such as florists, photographers and pyrotechnicians to ensure they all know what their roles are
- Brief suppliers on the order of the proposal and ensure that everyone knows what is expected
- Greet the couple and bring them to their proposal setup
- Observe the proposal and ensure that everything is running smoothly.
- Oversee the work of the photo and video team to ensure the couple are comfortable and the perfect shots are being captured.
- Congratulate the couple after a suitable amount of time and allow them to enjoy their dinner
- Maintain communication with the venue with regards to dinner timings, serving of champagne etc.
- Be on call in case they need you for anything
- Say goodbye to the couple at the end of the evening
- Pack away the proposal and ensure that all props are safely stored
- Leave the venue as found
- Represent Proposal Boutique at all stages and nurture our venue relationships that we have built by being kind and courteous.
- Return all items to the warehouse and place everything back in their correct locations
- Send the couple a message of congratulations and send them photos that you took on your phone while they wait for their professional ones
Requirements:
- Client must have their own visa
- Must have experience of working in the events industry in Dubai
- Preferred floristry or balloon décor experience
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Creative and innovative to new setups
- Friendly and warm personality
- Excellent organisation and time management
- A high level of flexibility is required as events happen with very short notice
- Able to work from 2pm each day as these events happen during evenings and weekends
- Own transportation essential
Working Hours:
48 hours per week broken into 5 events per week. These work days will change per week depending on event bookings.

1,200AED per proposal day rate
