Description
We are looking for a Receptionist to join our team and manage our front desk on a daily basis.

You will be the first point of contact for our customers and visitors, and you will provide administrative support across the organization.


As a Receptionist, you will greet and welcome guests, answer and direct phone calls, provide information and assistance, and handle various clerical tasks.

You will also ensure that the reception area is tidy and presentable, and that all office supplies are stocked and ordered.


To be successful in this role, you should have a friendly and professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a customer service attitude.

You should also be able to work efficiently under pressure, prioritize tasks, and follow instructions. Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.


Responsibilities:


  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Receive and sort daily mail and deliveries
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings
  • Arrange travel and accommodations for staff or clients
  • Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Handson experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and timemanagement skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Customer service attitude

Experience:

- receptionist: 1 year (required)
