    About the Al Qasimi Foundation

    The Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research (AQF) is a leading philanthropic organization based in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The Foundation supports the social, cultural, and economic development of RAK and the wider UAE through research, policy engagement, capacity development, and community programming.

    The Foundation also curates the RAK Art Festival, an international platform showcasing contemporary art, cultural heritage, and digital innovation, attracting audiences from across the UAE and GCC.

    Position Overview

    The Al Qasimi Foundation is committed to developing the skills of RAK Government employees to engage effectively with international stakeholders. As part of this initiative, we are seeking a highly qualified Mandarin Language Instructor to deliver in-house part-time training. This role focuses on both language acquisition and cultural understanding, preparing employees to communicate confidently with Chinese clients and partners.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver engaging, practical Mandarin lessons for employees at various proficiency levels.
    • Design lesson plans, exercises, and assessments tailored to learners' needs.
    • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
    • Incorporate Chinese cultural knowledge and business etiquette into lessons.
    • Maintain attendance records and progress reports.
    • Collaborate with HR and management to ensure training objectives align with organizational goals.

    CANDIDATE PROFILE

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
    • Proven experience teaching Mandarin, ideally to professionals or adult learners.
    • Fluency in Mandarin and English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
    • Strong understanding of Chinese culture, traditions, and business etiquette.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and proficiency levels.

    • Motivates learners and fosters a positive learning environment.
    • Highly organized and capable of preparing structured lessons and learning materials.
    • Flexible and able to manage a part-time schedule effectively.
    • Valid driving license to travel within Ras Al Khaimah for on-site client coaching
