Are you a legally trained professional with deep knowledge of MENA legal systems ready to lead our regional editorial team in Dubai—overseeing legal research and content delivery across 10 countries and helping power the next phase of growth for our research platform?
About The Role
In this opportunity as
Editorial Manager
, you will:
- Lead the editorial team and uphold processes, work product quality, and editorial standards across the function
- Oversee legal research, analysis, interpretation, and translation to support regional content needs
- Manage the team's legal content sourcing, creation, updating, and maintenance aligned to key regional value propositions
- Review, classify, interpret, and quality-check legal materials (including legislation and case law) produced by staff
- Monitor workflows, maintain team coverage, and ensure on-time delivery against publishing schedules and quality benchmarks
- Produce production, administrative, and cost reporting; manage budgets where applicable and escalate risks/issues promptly
- Supervise, coach, and develop the editorial team (performance management, training needs, hiring input), while building strong stakeholder relationships and driving process improvements to boost productivity and quality
About You
You're a fit for the role of
Editorial Manager
if you have the following required qualifications:
- Law degree (essential) with proven expertise in MENA legal systems
- Demonstrated team leadership and people management capabilities
- Arabic speaker with proficiency in English
- Strong understanding of legal research, content development, and editorial processes
- Experience in legal publishing, legal information services, or related content roles (desirable)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Deep knowledge of regional legal frameworks across MENA countries
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
