Description

JOB PURPOSE
To stock, the materials received from vendors properly to ensure easy access to identification, verification, handling, maintenance, etc.

Ensure proper stocking of materials by using an appropriate method of care and preservation to avoid any damage and loss.

To ensure a smooth issue of materials to the issue department.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE

  • Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom.
  • Receive, unload, and shelve supplies.
  • Perform other stockrelated duties, including returning, packing, and labelling supplies.
  • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to Procurement Executive for reimbursements and record keeping.
  • Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses.
  • Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
  • Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs.
  • Data Entry of Spare parts into the procurement system.
  • Labelling and sorting of the spare parts.
  • Reporting of weekly /monthly on all utilized and available spare parts and stock the support for Accounts dept.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field.
SKILLS/ TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE

  • Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
  • Previous Dealer experience and ability to have the best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment.
  • Analytical mind with the ability to make accurate mathematical computations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and other languages an added advantage.
  • Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely and legally if required.
  • Skills to operate common office equipment.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to acquire and maintain forklift certification.
  • Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

AED Accommodation + Transportation


Salary:
AED1, AED1,800.00 per month

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
