A leading steel contracting company in Al Quoz, Dubai is looking for a Site Supervisor with a minimum of 2 to 5 years GCC experience in the same field.


Site Supervisor - Steel Erection

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervision of Fabrication & Erection of steel structures.
  • Site inspection and Materials request to segregate staking for erection.
  • Coordination & Controlling of erection activities to complete work as per schedule.
  • Monitor and witness all construction/field activities and project progress.
  • Coordinate with contractor activities to ensure orderly and efficient completion of work
  • To ensure all site teams for Health and Safety related hazards and projectspecific requirements.
  • Work permit coordination.
  • Preparing/getting work permits, conducting daily toolbox meetings, and conducting job safety analyses.
  • Perform and update progressively to ensure proper control of material procurement and usage.
  • Resolve any technical problems or issues faced at the work site.
  • Study and evaluate the work sequences and methods.
  • Liaise with clients' representatives and coordinate with other department supervisors for effective coordination of all works.
  • Ensure that Safety, Health, and Environmental operating procedures are followed.
  • Report / resolve fabrication and drawing errors found at the site.
  • Supervise and ensure safe conditions at a construction site in cooperation with the safety department.
  • Supervise and ensure construction quality in accordance with project specifications and ITP (Inspection and Test Plan).
Good Experience in Sheeting / Roofing works.

Sounds knowledge of survey operation during steel erection work like usage of total station, theodolite etc.
