Description
Responsible to implement the job allocation and job flow within the team including job scheduling and labor allocation for day-to-day operations.
- Ensure supplies are ordered for each job. Ensure correct job numbers are used and that time records are correct.
- Conduct systematic performance of complex fault diagnosis, evaluation, and repair processes for all vehicles.
- Delegate/supervise repair orders to the team
- Discuss repair requirements with the service advisor on a daily basis.
- Prepare the team for the upcoming jobs; allocate job cards to align the jobs to the skillset and efficiency level.
- Effectively follow up and oversee progress for each job order to meet the agreed deadlines and check parts ordering status on a daily basis.
- Crosscheck the original customer complaint in the preorder form against the job card labor operation numbers to ensure agreed repairs are all concluded.
- Promote Health and safety rules defined for the equipment, instruments, and products, and as per the company SOP.
- Prepare and conduct every vehicle for a final check and further quality control audit.
- Monitor warranty jobs to ensure proper warranty process handling.
- To ensure the booking system is kept constantly updated with the vehicle's progress.
- Review & assess documentation to justify warranty claims and facilitate smooth processing.
- Monitor and action the main key performance indicators (KPIs) for performance on a daily basis.
- Increase team efficiency and optimize the repair process of individual team members with the transfer of knowhow and information on new technical features.
- Conduct onthejob training (Technical, Health, and Safety).
- Prepare reports for management review
- To monitor the department CSI achievement and implement corrective measures where needed to achieve the department CSI target.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coach, counsel, and provide support and necessary tools.
- Create and ensure implementation of training plans and programs to enable the team to accomplish their tasks efficiently.
- Closely working with Customers, department manager, and service team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and optimum utilization of workshop premises.
