• Responsible for providingaesthetic services under the supervision and direction of aPhysician; includes suggested skin care products and treatmentsthat will enhance patients overall outcome; training and educationto patients regarding skin careservices.

KeyAccountabilities:

• Responsiblefor the competent physical documented assessment (using all sourcesto hand including observation and communication) and subsequentpreparation of appropriate treatment for a patient's skincare needs based on good clinical knowledge, experience, andconsultation with aDermatologist/Physician
• Under the supervisionof physician and within the scope of training and credentialing,applies expert ability to utilize skin care equipment, tools, andprofessional products.
• Responsible for thetreatment and care of facial skin to maintain and improve itsappearance, including understanding about the sun and its effect onthe skin.
• Performs all phases of skin care in atimely manner.
• Performs chemical exfoliation,microdermabrasion, makeup application, waxing, facial proceduresand lymphatic massage under the supervision of aphysician.
• Educate patients on how to care fortheir skin before and after surgery.
• Ensurestimely and accurate documentation of all procedures includingdetailed informed consents and patient education regardingequipment and skin care protocols
• Maintain arecord of physical findings confidentially, accurately andtimely
• Under the direction of the Dermatologyand Facial Plastics healthcare professionals and in collaborationwith the materials department, maintains inventory of skin careproducts appropriate for the needs of thepractice.
• Keep up to date knowledge on new skincare products and treatments
• Provides trainingand education to patients on the treatment and care of theirskin
• Anticipates, recognizes, managesemergencies and unsafe situations and practice, initiatingappropriate and timely interventions.
• Performsall duties in a professional and confidentialmanner

Education,Qualification andCertification:

• Diplomain Beauty Therapy or Accredited Aesthetician Program or ClinicalAesthetician Training Program
• Minimum 2 year ofexperience in Aesthetic department
• Knowledge ofperi-operative, beautician, and plastic surgery services: locally,regionally, and internationally
• Excellentcommunication skills in English. & Arabic(preferable)
• DOH License as BeautyTherapist
